Ballet Arts Ensemble Presents "The Princess and the Pea"

To open this year’s season, Ballet Arts Ensemble (BAE) and Artistic Director Cathleen Huling have chosen to retell balletically Hans Christian Andersen’s enchanting story, The Princess and the Pea.

Ms. Huling has used her creative talents to choreograph a delightful version of this popular fairytale, set to the music of Giuseppe Verdi. Although the storyline follows the traditional tale of a prince in search of his princess, Ms. Huling has included many characters from other Andersen stories and provided a unique twist to the narrative, including a somewhat unusual ending.

Each performance will be followed by a Princess Tea. One Tea ticket may be bought for each performance ticket purchased. Those who attend the Tea will have the opportunity to meet the dancers and get their autographs. Seating is limited to 100 people for each Tea on a first-come first-served basis.

More information and tickets are available on Ballet Arts Ensemble’s website.
